How Can We Help?

If you follow the advice we give to move into a vehicle, you will probably start to tell your friends and family about your plans. It is very likely they will be horrified at the prospect, and will tell you that it is much too dangerous, and you shouldn’t do it.

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it.

Avoiding danger is not safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” Helen Keller

We are here to tell you that they are right, it is more dangerous. But we reach a different conclusion based on that fact. Instead of running from the danger, we think you should embrace it as an old friend and sell your stuff and move into your car, van or RV as quickly as you can. Humans evolved in an extremely dangerous world and our bodies are adapted to it. When all risk is suddenly removed from our lives, we are lost and confused, something is very wrong.

In modern life we are confronted by “danger” every day at work, driving, and in our relationships and when it happens are bodies automatically react with adrenalin and other hormonal chemicals. But there is never a physical reaction (like fight or flight) to that danger to wash those chemicals away, so they build up in our bodies. Collectively we call that “stress” and modern medicine has proven that it is killing us physically and emotionally.

“The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them.”
Jack London

We have found that to the degree you return to a nature-based life, to that degree the stress of modern life will fall away. You will be healthier physically, emotionally and spiritually. It is very likely you will live longer and better because of it.

“Any coward can sit in his home and criticize a pilot for flying into a mountain in a fog. But I would rather, by far, die on a mountainside than in bed.

What kind of man would live where there is no daring? And is life so dear that we should blame men for dying in adventure. Is there a better way to die?”
Charles Lindbergh, Jr.

However, while your stress will greatly decrease because most of the false “danger” of modern life will fall away, you will in fact face more real, actual, physical danger. To me it is much more than worth it. While I fully expect to live a longer, better life this way, I accept that the possibility of an early death or some other danger, greatly increase. You alone can make that decision for yourself and this website, nor it’s owners or writers, will not accept any blame for whatever may befall you by following our advice.
