It makes sense, but it’s easier said than done. Often times is easier to follow the well known path than to jump into a ‘ new thing’… LOVE Alan Watts !!
Sometimes the well known path is hard and hard on us, and might even lead the wrong direction, but we stick to it only because it’s familiar.

True, in the long run the results may be detrimental to us, but following the routine makes the happenings unchallenging …since we have been doing it the same way forever, practice makes perfect & it feels predictable & comfy. ??
